GXM Magnetic Extensometer Range
The GXM Magnetic Extensometer range consists of precise instruments designed for monitoring settlement and deformation in soil and structures. They are widely used for geotechnical monitoring, including in embankments, foundations and critical structures.
They function by tracking the relative movement of magnetic targets within an access tube. A sensor probe detects the location of each target relative to a fixed reference point, allowing for precise measurement of the depth, position and total amount of settlement. The range features models such as:- GXM-100 (including the “P” and “T” models)
- GXM-200 (including the “P” and “T” models)
- GXM-300 (including the “i” model)
