VWP-3000 VW piezometers
The VWP-3000 Series Vibrating Wire Piezometers are designed to provide measurements of pore water pressure across geotechnical and structural engineering applications.
These piezometers work by converting fluid pressures (exerted on a sensitive diaphragm) into a frequency signal. They collect reliable and accurate data suitable for monitoring groundwater elevations, pore pressures and fluid pressures.The series is built to withstand tough and demanding conditions, ideal for direct burial in fills, embankments and boreholes. Each model includes an internal thermistor and a 90V gas plasma arrester, acting as a safeguard against lightning strikes.
The VWP-3000 Series also features:
- Various filter options, including low air entry and high air entry
- A resolution of 0.025% FS and an accuracy of ±0.1% FS
- Signal frequencies capable of long-distance transmission, meaning that the sensors are insensitive to long cable lengths
