The Multi-Point Vibrating Wire Piezometer is a specialised instrument designed for measuring pore water pressure at multiple depths within a single borehole. This offers a more detailed understanding of subsurface water conditions.
A compact design simplifies the installation and monitoring process, reducing the need for multiple boreholes to provide a cost-effective solution.
Using vibrating wire technology, the Multi-Point converts pressure changes into frequency signals. Although each sensor is housed within the same casing, they operate independently to deliver accurate data with minimal interference. This includes independent conductors.Other features include:
- 345 kPa to 3.5 MPa pressure range
- Operating temperature range -20 to +70°C
- Accuracy of 0.1% FS
