End-to-End Services

Monitel believes in a holistic approach to monitoring. Our team will support you from the start, designing an extensive system with proper piezometer selection. Then, we oversee a smooth installation process and integrate data with automated reporting systems.

To support you post-installation, we offer ongoing monitoring that assists audits, inspections and internal reviews.

Solutions Tailored to Each Project

Every site is different – and every monitoring system should be too. We select a piezometer based on the needs of your project, offering custom cable lengths to suit.

Monitel prides itself on a technology and product agnostic approach. We have no allegiance to any one brand or sensor and will always choose the best product for you

Sensors Built for Australia

In the harsh climates of Australia’s regions, it’s not uncommon for monitoring equipment to fail you.

That’s why every Monitel piezometer is assembled and tested in WA, ensuring that it can perform in unforgiving environments.

Where a piezometer helps

Tailings Dam Monitoring

Piezometers detect excess pore pressure, seepage or changes in water content that indicate instability in tailings infrastructure.

This monitoring is crucial for compliance and long-term asset integrity for WA’s resources industry.

Borehole Monitoring

We often use our sensors to track groundwater levels and pore pressure changes in boreholes.

For engineering and environmental management consultants, this data supports environmental assessments, dewatering and site stability analyses.

Tunnel Monitoring

To support tunnel integrity for civil infrastructure and resources projects, our team monitor structural movement, water ingress and other environmental conditions

Each of these can have a significant impact on tunnel stability and compliance on your site.

Why Monitel’s piezometers last

Reliable measuring ranges and accuracy

Most of our stocked VWPs are available in pressure ranges such as 350 kPa, 700 kPa, 2,000 kPa, and up to 3,500 kPa. Depending on the model, they operate with accuracies of ±0.1% to ±0.5% of full scale.

With various options available, they are suited to both low and high-pressure groundwater monitoring applications.

Waterproof Sealing

All Monitel sensors are fully encapsulated and waterproof to withstand long-term deployment in saturated soils, tailings or submerged boreholes.

See our piezometers in action

We were asked to monitor pore pressure changes during a pre-loading phase at the Alkimos Desalination Plant. Our team opted for a vibrating wire piezometer, installing sensors in multiple locations for a comprehensive picture.

Monitel’s data was crucial in understanding how settlement and moisture interacted within the soil layers, assisting engineers in determining when consolidation was complete. With our help, construction proceeded with confidence, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with regulations.

Salt and Potash Groundwater Monitoring

Environmental regulations mandated continuous monitoring of groundwater to detect potential changes in the surrounding environment. Our deployment of CT2X sensors provided a robust solution for continuous groundwater monitoring with real-time results.

Pricing & delivery

What is the lead time for delivery?

For stocked models, our standard turnaround from order to dispatch is 3-4 business days. Urgent orders can be expedited subject to availability.

If you require a custom cable length, there’s no need to worry – that won’t cause any dispatch delays.
