Approach

The Seametrics PT12 is a rugged submersible pressure and temperature sensor designed to provide accurate measurements in demanding environmental conditions. With both SDI-12 and Modbus RTU communication interfaces, it is a versatile option for automated water-level and pressure monitoring. The PT12 measures pressure and temperature from a single compact sensor and is available in both gauge and absolute configurations. Other features include:
  • Pressure ranges from 1 PSI to 300 PSI
  • Rugged 316 stainless steel construction, with titanium option available
  • IP68 and NEMA 6P waterproofing protection
  • Optional automatic barometric compensation for absolute pressure applications
  • Multiple cable options, including polyethylene, polyurethane and FEP
  • Optional 1/4-inch NPT inlet
  • Low-power operation for remote monitoring applications
The PT12’s digital interfaces make it streamline connection to compatible data loggers and your wider monitoring network. The 316 steel build and quality waterproofing make it ideal for long-term deployment in WA’s unforgiving rural environments.
