QJ Inclinometer Casing
The QJ Inclinometer Casing is a high-precision casing designed to aid inclinometers in monitoring ground movement, structural shifts and wall stability. It can be used:
- In boreholes and fill material
- Cast in concrete
- Attached to structures
Made from either rigid ABS plastic or aluminium, it provides exceptional durability and minimal deformation, ensuring accurate and repeatable inclinometer readings over long monitoring periods.
The QJ Casing features four keyways at 90-degree intervals, guiding inclinometer probes along a fixed path for accurate lateral displacement measurements. Self-aligning joints ensure consistent keyway positioning, eliminating misalignment issues during installation.
The casing features quick connecting joints, widely considered to be easier to install than traditional glue and socket casings.
Monitel also has access to the QJ Casing’s full range of accessories including caps, anchors and magnetic targets.
The casing is compatible with most standard inclinometers to enable seamless integration into new or existing monitoring systems.
